Jefferson, Iowa
Years of Operation: 1946 - 1967
Curtis Implement Co. was formed by LeRoy and Harold Curtis in 1946 located at 204 N. Vine Street. In addition to Oliver, they were dealers for New Holland, Stan-Hoist, New Idea and other short lines.  The Curtis family also farmed with Oliver machinery as shown in some of their advertisements. In 1964, the dealership received the President's Honor Council award from the Oliver Corporation. After 20 some years of operating the dealership, LeRoy Curtis was ready to retire. Curtis Implement had a close out auction on December 28, 1967. Gregory Implement, owned by Mike Gregory, was appointed the new Oliver dealer for Jefferson in July 1967.
