The Oliver Corporation was in need of a new dealer for the Boone area in the summer of 1964 after Don Peterson closed his Oliver dealership. In October 1964, Boone Tractor & Equipment, Inc. was named the new Oliver dealer for Boone county.  They were located at 820 10th Street and had been a Ford implement dealer in 1963 when they acquired the Ford tractor dealership.
The dealership corporation included the following officers: Charles Nalean - President, Ted Swanson - Vice President, and William Lehman - Secretary. The service manager was Harold Weidner, store manager was George Cole, sales manager was William Lehman, and head mechanic was John Stiles. John had previously been an Oliver mechanic at Don Peterson Motor & Implement Co. Bob Johnson and Keith Hunt also worked as mechanics for the dealership in 1965. Bob and Keith, along with George Cole and Bill Lehman, attended the "Growing O" Show in Mead, Nebraska on August 13, 1965. The implement dealership was named to Oliver's President's Honor Council for 1965.

In February 1967, Boone Tractor & Equipment, Inc. moved west to the nearby town of Ogden, Iowa. The operated at 413 E. Walnut Street (Old Highway 30) in Ogden. Later, the moved to a new building on the west edge of town. Advertising lists them as Ford and Oliver dealers at the time of the move. By 1969, Oliver was not listed as one of the brands they sold thus closing the history books on Oliver dealers in Boone county, Iowa. They continued to advertise Ford tractors into the 1970s operating as Boone County Implement in Ogden. In October 1976, Nalean sold the dealership to Boyd Sparks.
