Harold Bohrofen started in the implement business in 1955 when he acquired Dunbar Farm Machinery which was owned by Bert Dunbar. The dealership was located at 205 Highway IA-44 in Grimes. Harold's son-in-law Daryl Noble joined the business. Later, Daryl's son Steve Noble joined his father in the family operation.
Daryl Noble passed away in 1991 and Harold Bohrofen passed away in 2007.
The former dealership building is still there on Highway 44 in Grimes. The former equipment lot and building across the street is now a Casey's gas station.
